As a newbie to blogging you may have so many questions related to SEO. Specially when your site is not indexed by search engines or when your site is penalized by search engines. So I thought to list down some reasons which will cause to ignore by search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc..
01. Too new.
If your sites is too new, it will take time to index. Meanwhile you can submit your site to search engines. So be patient.
02. Do not have enough contents/ pages.
If you only have home page or 2~3 pages.
03. Not useful to the user.
If the contents of your site is not related with the title or use very poor writing skills then it will be a reason for search engine penalizing.
04. May have duplicate contents.
If you copy paste some contents from others by doing little editing then it will cause to give a bad alert to search engines.
05. Link structure of the site is very poor.
If you don't allow your users to access to most important pages on your site with few clicks then not only the user but you are in trouble.
06. Blocked by 'robots.txt'.

This is not a big deal at all. But there is a possibility that many search engine try to index your at the same time. This will happen if you use a tool to submit your pages to search engines.
